my stupid mouth

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. " A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Friends are very rare jewels, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to open their hearts to us.

I'm sorry if i made you cry. I'm sorry if I'm like this. I'm sorry for saying things I'm not supposed to say. I'm sorry that i caused the fight. I'm sorry for not letting you know and feel how much i love you..

But please remember this:

Behind my stupid mouth, there is a voice that keeps on saying "Never let me go.. I can't do this without you.."

ah! crap!

anyways..

You Are 64% Pure

You're pretty pure, and you have no plans on changing that.

You do have a devilish side though... and it will probably get the better of you.

You Are 50% Weird

Normal enough to know that you're weird...

But too damn weird to do anything about it!

You Are a Sprinkled Donut

Flamboyant and flashy, you're easily distracted by shiny things.
You're definitely a snazzy number, and you usually catch everyone's eye in the room.
And you've got the goods to back it up your colorful image.
(Though too much of you gives people a stomach ache!)

You Are 62% Evil

You are very evil. And you're too evil to care.

Those who love you probably also fear you. A lot.

You Are a Banana Split

Fruity, flavorful, and diverse.

Who can beat a true superstar?

on voting and watching

today i had made one of the hardest decisions in my life.
today i felt like i am really a part of this society, that i am existing, and that i am no longer a CHILD.

today, i practiced my right and my obligation to VOTE.

everything felt good.
well, except for that blob of ink on my nail. :((

choosing the right people to vote for is as hard as answering a physics long exam.
it's as scary because your future depends on the name you're gonna write on the ballot.
just like an exam, there are always right or wrong answers.
but you'll only realize whether you've answered right or wrong after six years - after the person you voted for has finished his term.

oh well.
i hope i made the right choice. :))

Grave of the Fireflies

Taking place toward the end of World War II in Japan, Grave of the Fireflies is the poignant tale of the relationship between two orphaned children, Seita and his younger sister Setsuko. The children lost their mother in the firebombing of Kobe, and their father in service to the Imperial Japanese Navy, and as a result they are forced to try to survive amidst widespread famine and the callous indifference of their countrymen (some of whom are their own extended family members). Setsuko eventually dies from malnutrition, and the graphic nature of suffering and death is uniquely harrowing in the annals of anime.

i am loving classic animations now. especially hayao miyazaki's works. i'm glad i saw that dvd (collection of hayao miyazaki's works). *grin*
