sinusoidal steady-state analysis

woohoo. i got the highest score at today's physics quiz (circuit analysis). *grin

i know. 'twas only a quiz. but our quiz here in UP might be your final exams already.
just kidding :))

i just love circuit analysis.

even before, when i was still in EEE, i already enjoyed it. solving for unknowns in a given circuit, finding voltages & currents by using kirchhhoff's laws, and simplfying a given circuit were really interesting for me.

i'm not saying that i'm really good at it. in fact, i even flunked exams in EEE33.

yes. i enjoyed it. but i still flunked exams.
that's how difficult EEE is.
that time, facing sinusoidal steady state analysis, transient, thevenin's theorem, phasor diagrams, network reduction felt like I'm facing death.

try this: (EEE peeps, I know you can do this.Ü)

i sucked on this big time. :(

i'm all hands up to those who passed all their EEE subjects, to those who got 1 point something grades on these über hard subjects, and to those who stick to their chosen career no matter how many 5's they get. you guys are so amazing. good luck to succeeding years of facing more complex circuits. i know you can do it! :))

in EEE, circuit analysis is just basic. a stepping stone to a more difficult subjects. i dunno why. but it's just so.. so difficult. a grade of 5 on any EEE subject could make someone's life miserable. i'm not exaggerating this time. it's true. one 5, and your five years of pursuing your career would become 6 years.. another year of burden. not just to you but also to your family.

i guess that's the reason why i shifted to IE. i got no 5's on my EEE subjects (only DRP). i dunno. i guess i was just scared to fail. i didn't want to become a burden to my family so i decided to change career.

call me chickenshit. i don't care.
i know i made the right decision.
i'm loving IE now. and i'm pretty sure i'll be successful in the future. :))

anyhoo, i'm still thankful that i studied EEE.
without it, i won't top the quiz today. :))

something to lighten up the mood..

the Bloomfields: the Beatles of the new generation

ooh! i sooo love the bloomfields! they're my newest addiction right now. i always crave for more! haha! i want rocky! i want rocky! i want him like candy~~ haha!

ok, so im over reacting! sorry guys! but this is my blog where i set my own limits. and if you don't like what i'm blabbering about, feel free to click that x button at the upper right corner of your browser. but if you want to waste your time with me, continue reading! common! i know you want to.. :Þ

***
get to know the bloomfields and i'm sure you'll go gaga over their songs and cute smiles, too!Ü

Artist Description for The Bloomfields

It all started back in good ol’ high school at the La Salle Green Hills when Jay Jay Lozano (guitar/vocals) decided to start a band with buddies Rocky Collado (drums/vocals) and Louie Poco (bass/vocals). Believe it or not, they played alternative and punk music, with inspirations ranging from Oasis to Blink 182 and McCarthy. Strange, ain’t it? Mod was their style of choice – case in point: Jay Jay’s hair, Jay Jay’s pants.

When they finally got into college, they started tapping what they now fondly call “happy music”, playing a few songs from the 60s during odd gigs. Ritchie Valens fueled their first steps, with songs such as Do You Wanna Dance, C’mon Let’s Go and La Bamba being played as staple gig tracks. La Bamba became a huge hit in all their gigs, and they later on noticed how their audience enjoyed this “happy” stuff they did. They then decided to expand their repertoire of 60s rock ‘n’ roll from one gig to the next.

Inspired by other legendary rock ‘n’ roll bands such as The Beach Boys and The Four Freshmen, they became interested in blending in vocal harmonies during performances. That’s when Pepe Lozano (guitar/vocals) – Jay Jay’s brother from shoegaze band Weedisneys – along with Lakan Hila (keyboards/vocals), also from the Weedisneys, hopped in.

The rest is rock ‘n’ roll history. Word got around that a group called The Bloomfields – a bunch of young, energetic boys in suits who played “daddy music” (but definitely fun and timeless music nonetheless) – was making thunderous waves playing in schools, private parties, and bars.

In addition to their already excellent music portfolio, the boys recently made the papers when they fronted for big foreign acts Gary Lewis (2005) and Herman’s Hermits (2006), both held at the Araneta Coliseum.

say goodbye to the nocturnal in me

i've been über busy since the first day of summer class that's why i've no time to update my page.

anyway, i didn't get AeroDance through online pre-enlistment, real enlistment, and through prerog. grrr! i was so pissed off. my plans were ruined! [refer to my 1st post.] haaaaay.

fortunately, i got social dance through prerog. prof aguilar was such a sweetheart to let 20+ of us be admitted in her class. plus, some of my friends were also enrolled in her class. yey! i guess that would make up for my frustration. god is soooo goood!Ü

anyways, i was lucky enough to have sir ck as my lab instructor in physics. he was my recit class teacher before.. lucky me!Ü i also heard a lot of good things about him. some of my friends were his laboratory students before and they told me that he showered them with love, care, and lotsa "uno". haha! i just hope my summer would be "rainy"!Ü

i've beeen lacking lotsa zzzzz's lately. my class starts at 7am. bye bye nocturnal salve! :))

"waking up early in the morning makes you sleeepy in the afternoon."

so true. i felt drowsy all afternoon- especially during physics lecture. oh well. my physics lec is oh so boooring. but i know i'm not the only one who snoozes during lec. i saw lotsa sleepyheads around me. haha!

........

my grey matter isn't working good right now so i guess i'll say byebye for now.lol.

*smooches*

look inside your heart and you'll find the answer

i made a few changes on my blog. thanks to dzoi and kuya ciccio! you're both amazing!

btw, my blog is best viewed with mozilla firefox. anyhoo, i still prefer opera browser. *grin*

it's so colorful - just like my life. i guess it suits my personality :D.

so what happened today?

nothing significant really. i woke up at 1pm. arrgh! arthur txtd me and said he wanted to see me. he had contracted an illness in the form of cough, colds and super fever last week. ohh. and i didn't even visit him. *what an uncaring girlfriend*. kill me now, cupid! haha.

he missed me dearly. ahaha. and i missed him too. so we went out. it was not really a date. we just went to the mall, bought zagu and hang out at home. it was obvious that he got thinner. *oh puhleeze. teach me how to do that*. even mama noticed the change. i felt guilty though, i didn't believe him when he told me he had trangkaso. i thought it was just an excuse. *sob*

at least i made his day.
and he made mine, too.

sometimes we think so much of ourselves that we already take our loved ones for granted. what we don't know is that a single act of unmindfulness is already breaking their hearts. and it's really painful if we just realized our fault on the day we felt that they are beginning to hate us for what we did.

i don't wanna let that happen to me.
and i know you don't want too.

so what should we do?

we all have the answer. and we don't really have to go to a physician to ask for help. we just have to look deeper into our hearts. and we'll find the answer.

love.

simply love.

love your family. treasure your friends. take care and love your partner.

and everthing we'll be good.

all good.

minamalas.

im so tired.
damn crs. damn registration committee. damn admin.

bakit kelangan pang baguhin?
why don't they just stick to the status quo?
grrr.

i slept at 230am last night and woke up at 630am. i had to go early to school to get my form 5a and secure a copy of my form5.. kala ko madali na lang ang lahat kasi PE na lang ang imamanual enlist ko.

maling akala pala yon.

they followed this rule:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

and for those who pre enlisted but still need to enlist another subject [like me], they still have to enlist online.

oo tama. wala na ngang manual enlistment.

wow.that was a good idea.

yeah. good sana. kung inde lang clogged ang server nila.
kung lahat sana ng estudyante makakapagonline.
kung madami sanang vacant sa pc shops.

kaso inde eh.

ang init na nga. ang bagal pa ng crs.

i wasted my time, my money, and my energy for nothing.

wala din akong naenlist.

i went home exhausted pero umaasa pa din na makakalog in ako sa crs pag dating ko sa bahay. pero inde pa din eh!

cge. ragnarok muna ko. friendster. blogspot. weff.

after umpteen hours tinry ko ulet.

"YAY!nakapasok ako!"

but wait, there's more! [parang advertisement lang!]

CLOSED na ung section.
zero.
nada.
wala.

oh well.
pag minamalas ka nga naman..

magpiprerog na lang ako.
bahala na si Lord.

spell boring

my last post is too looong.
and too boooring to loook at.

this one's too short - to compensate for the previous post.
oh well.

life is good. enjoy it. :D

99 things girls ought to know about guys

1. Guys don't actually look after good-looking girls. They prefer neat and presentable girls.

2. Guys hate flirts.

3. A guy can like you for a minute, and then forget you afterwards.

4. When a guy says he doesn't understand you, it simply means you're not thinking the way he is.

5. "Are you doing something?" or "Have you eaten already?" are the first usual questions a guy asks on the phone just to get out from stammering.

6. Guys may be flirting around all day but before they go to sleep, they always think about the girl they truly care about.

7. When a guy really likes you, he'll disregard all your bad characteristics.

8. Guys go crazy over a girl's smile.

9. Guys will do anything just to get the girl's attention.

10. Guys hate it when you talk about your ex-boyfriend.

11. When guys want to meet your parents. Let them.

12. Guys want to tell you many things but they can't. And they sure have one habit to gain courage and spirit to tell you many things and it is drinking!

13. Guys cry!!!

14. Don't provoke the guy to heat up. Believe me. He will.

15. Guys can never dream and hope too much.

16. Guys usually try hard to get the girl who has dumped them, and this makes it harder for them to accept their defeat.

17. When you touch a guy's heart, there's no turning back.

19. Guys go crazy when girls touch their hands.

20. Guys are good flatterers when courting but they usually stammer when they talk to a girl they really like.

21. When a guy makes a prolonged "umm" or makes any excuses when you're asking him to do you a favor, he's actually saying that he doesn't like you and he can't lay
down the card for you.

25. Guys love their moms.

26. A guy would sacrifice his money for lunch just to get you a couple of roses.

you.

40. A guy finds ways to keep you off from linking
with someone else.

miniskirts.

would unluckily
get the wrong one.

51. You have to tell a guy what you really want before getting involved with that guy.

52. A guy has to experience rejection, because if he's too-good-never-been-buste d, never been in love and hurt, he won't be matured and grow up.

53. When an unlikable circumstance comes, guys blame themselves a lot more than girls do. They could even hurt themselves physically.

54. Guys have strong passion to change but have weak will power.

55. Guys are tigers in their peer groups but become tamed pussycats with their girlfriends.

59. Guys don't really have final decisions.

60. When a guy loves you, bring out the best in him.

61. If a guy starts to talk seriously, listen to him.

65. Guys don't like girls who punch harder than they do.

88. If a guy lets you go, he really loves you.

89. If you have a boyfriend, and your boy best friend always glances at you and it obviously shows that he is jealous whenever you're with your boyfriend, all I can say is your boy best friend loves you more than your boyfriend does.

90. Guys learn from experience not from the romance books that girls read and take as their basis of experience.

91. You can tell if a guy is really hurt or in pain when he cries in front of you!

92. If a guy suddenly asks you for a date, ask him first why.

93. When a guy says he can't sleep if he doesn't hear your voice even just for one night, hang up. He also tells that to another girl. He only flatters you and sometimes makes fun of you.

94. You can truly say that a guy has good intentions if you see him praying sometimes.

95. Guys seek for advice not from a guy but from a girl.

96. Girls are allowed to touch boys' things. Not their hair!

97. If a guy says you're beautiful, that guy likes you.

98. Guys hate girls who overreact.

99. Guys love you more than you love them if they are serious in your relationships.

to err is human

do you wanna kill someone because you don't like the way she speaks?

i do. god, forgive me for this.

there's nothing wrong with her sentence construction, grammar or pronunciation. i mean, i don't care about that. even the most intelligent person commits mistake on that. it's the "err" thing that freaks me out.

what's with the "err"?

note: "err" here is not "to go astray morally" but "err" as an expression.

i do use the "err" word sometimes.
eg.
SugarSpiceSalve: I think I forgot my err.. my napkin..
(i use "err" before the words i can't say directly.)

but using "err" after every sentence she says is really annoying. i dunno why she loves saying that.
eg. (this person im talkin about used to txt me before. these are what her text messages usually look like.)

Haay.. Good morning! Kumain na kayo?
Kakapagod.. err..
haaay.. nakakamiss siya.. err..
bakit sya ganun... err.

see? lotsa err. and it's freakin annoying. why can't she just omit the "err" and say everything directly? i mean, just to save time, and space, and energy (finger efforts), right?

oh girl..

to err is human.. but to say "err.." after every sentence you say is, i guess, stupid.

all mixed up

i slept real late last night. i dunno why i just couldn't sleep. i tossed and turned on my bed, read books, thought of what happened the whole day, and imagined things i didn't expect my wild imaginations could ever think of. next thing i knew, i'm alredy dreaming.

the moon bid goodbye and the sun said hello. it was 8am in the morning and i didn't have plans of waking up early. but what the heck, the noise otside was really annoying. grr. It was ok if the sound is music to my ears. but no. all i could hear was:

"si konsehal sese..si konsehal sese ating iboto sa susunod na halalan..sese tayo..sese tayo.."
-Domeng Sese's jingle to the tune of LaBamba

"remember V, remember P, remember me, Vincent Pacheco.."
-Vincent Pacheco's jingle to the tune of Totoy Bibo

arrgh. i was pissed. i just mumbled to myself "I won't vote for you fools". After all, they've done nothing good either. *devilish grin*

anyway, speaking of "not good", Papa told us the accident he witnessed in katipunan. a beggar was ran over by a truck. his exact words are "nadurog ng truck ung bata". aww. I felt a sudden fear. i used to cross the high way in katipunan. what if it happened to me? aww. final destination ba ito?hehe.

dyoi and i went to school crossed fingers to get our classcards. i got 3 out of 7 classcards. she got 1 out of 5. hehe. actually, the main reason why we went to UP is to know our grades. weee! im so glad i passed all my subjects (so did dyoi). we went home hungry and tired but our hearts were singing.

work it out

Ok. So i've been on a diet for like, nine days. And as of now, i can't see any changes yet. Haha! I have to do this, i mean, just to boost my self confidence, and hey, maybe after a couple of weeks of sweating it out, Arthur will drool more over me!

My sister, grace, (who i guess needs more dieting), encouraged me to diet. thanks to her and now i only eat a cup of rice once a day. I also stopped eating junkfoods and softdrinks. (that's already an accomplishment, huh). Wait till I see a bottle of coke in front of me on its carbonating glory! Well, that's another story.

We decided to do aero every sunday (in Luneta) and jog every sat & sun (in Ultra). Just thinking about it made me excted. I mean, i have my PE (aerobic dancing) every weekday and sunday plus i got to jog every saturday. Wow. I just hope I have a beyonce-body after a month. *grin*
